Anyone who knows me should know that I usually carry a book with me during the school day. It is not uncommon for me to read a different book each day. I am going to go over the books in my collection that would be appropriate for young readers, a few of which may not actually be on the market yet. Through my years of reading I have gotten some benefits, one of such is that my opinion of the books that I read is taken into account when a bookstore by the name of Square Books Jr. decides which books to have in stock.
These books that are not yet out will have a star beside them *  I will give a basic rundown on what each book is about, unless they are relatively well know.

I hope that you find these books as enjoyable as i did.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        1. The Snow Spider Trilogy-{The Snow Spider, Emlyn's Moon, The Chestnut Soldier} In this trilogy a young boy named Gwyned gets several gifts on his birthday, each one is strange in its own way, a scarf, a brooch, and several other things. One gift, however must never be used, a strange toy horse with a grim history. However it gets into the wrong hands and sends everything into chaos, the person who used it? Himself.

       2. Daemon Hall*- This book is a contest and a collection of odd horror-like stories. The book takes a person in by a simple rhyme that is akin to the Agatha Christie novel "And Then There Were None" but in a much more childish form. Each contestant has written and submitted a horror story and are to spend the night, with consent from there parents of course, in Daemon Hall a manor owned by a universally known horror book writer. As the night goes on the last one standing after all the stories have been told wins. The only problem is, the last tale is their own.

        3. Jinx*- This book is perfect for anyone wanting to escape their own world and see one with all sorts of strange things. Everyone in this book has a secret, not to tell you of course. Jinx, a young boy has a strange ability, he can read a person's feelings. His stepfather is annoyed with him and thinks of an easy way to get rid of him, but is taken away himself. Jinx is saved by a wizard, but is also cursed by him. In order to get back his ability, he must see one of the most dangerous people in the world. Luckily he is not alone, he has two others like himself, cursed but daring the world to do its worst they set out on a journey that may either unite them, or destroy them.

        4. The Mysterious Benedict Society-{The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Perilous Journey, The Prisoner's Dilemma.} Four children must face a plot to rule the world. Each of these children have very unique personalities and are very intelligent in various ways. The book must be read.

        5.  Incarceron & Saphique- These two books are so strange and amazing that I cannot describe them to their full glory. Full of action. A paradise has gone mad, turned into a prison. One seeks escape from the terror that it has become, the other seeks escape from a marriage to an awful man.

6.The Magic Thief- {The Magic Thief, Lost, Found. A young thief finds kindness in a man he tried to rob, an old wizard. After insisting to be his apprentice, Conn struggles to find an item to release his power. After he does he discovers a dangerous plot to steal all of the magic in the city, not only will this take away his power, but it will drain the life of all the people that dwell within.

That's all for now...more to come.
